About Me

I make no qualms about being a hard-working and tenacious writer and editor. I’ve been a writer all my life. At age seven, I was paid for my first article—a profile of Terry Fox. By age eight, I was writing and illustrating short stories which were circulated in my elementary school library. I knew then that I wanted to craft sentences and engage readers. I went on to earn communications awards throughout my public school career.

My love of language translated in earning an English and Psychology BA from Simon Fraser University and a diploma in Professional Writing from Douglas College. As a result of my background, I bring theoretical and practical foundations to writing projects, understanding the importance of audience, genre, and design when communicating to stakeholders.

Writing is both an art and a science. Hence, I approach projects from both a creative and analytical perspective to ensure project objectives are met.

Everyone can write. But choosing the right word at the write time is the art of writing well.
